About
"I love this natural world we live in - the colours and textures, the sky, the trees, the rocks, the sea...

My photos are simply reproductions of the beauty I see all around us every day. The extraordinary within the ordinary. It is my desire to share that beauty, whether it is the leaves collecting in a gutter or the myriad of colours as the sun puts itself to bed."

All of the photographs on these pages are available for purchase and are available framed or unframed. My photos are proudly printed on Hahnemuehle Cotton Rag using pigment inks. All materials used in printing, mounting and framing are archival. Many are also available as greeting cards.

In 2009 I established the Goulburn Street Gallery in West Hobart, Tasmania. The gallery is home to a continually changing collection of visual art with regular exhibitions by contemporary Tasmanian artists. A selection of my own work is always on display.

Hello Ian - a friend in Sandy Bay sent me a beautiful "Ian Jeanneret" card recently (Wedgetail Eagle) and I was so moved by its beauty I immediately viewed your website - thirsty for more of your exquisite work. How I wish I'd know about your gallery when I was last in Tasmania (2006). Maybe it's time for another visit so I can see more of the world as you see it.

I saw some of your photos at an exhibition at 'Salamanca'. I was stunned and felt emotionally stirred. Great to find the website. Better profession than the books at the Cottage School so long ago!!
